We welcome all Blue Thunder Booster members to be active participants in our organization. There are many opportunities to get involved:

• attend booster meetings
• help at fundraising events
• work concessions
• assist in the merchandise trailer
• join the board of directors
• and much more.

Our success is dependent upon the people within our organization — we’re always open to fresh ideas from our member families…and always looking to grow our organization.

With your membership you will help Belvidere North High School and Belvidere Central Middle School student athletes continue to excel and keep reaching higher standards!

Purpose:

• To support & encourage participation in sports activities at Belvidere North High School & Belvidere Central Middle School.
• To expand and perpetuate interest in all school-sponsored sports activities.
• To encourage the SPIRIT of good sportsmanship and fellowship.
• To create a positive bond between school personnel, players and parents.
• To provide equipment/training aids to coaches to assist them in the development of athletes.

Board of Directors:

Consists of 11 Directors including the HS Athletic Director, the HS Principal and 9 Directors who each serve a two-year term. Elected officers are the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.

Meetings:

Blue Thunder Boosters meetings are held on the fourth Monday of every month at 6:00 PM in the Belvidere North High School library (and occasionally at Belvidere Central Middle School). Meetings are open to current and prospective members.
